The Institute for Technology and Global Health is a hub for research, innovation, and development.
Our mission is research with ripples, as we aim to explore new frontiers in public health technology and study their socio-economic impact, through a robust research agenda at the intersection of public health, technology, and governance.
Derived insights catalyze the development and deployment of new technologies for public purpose, aimed at improving health outcomes of populations around the world, and through a tight network of collaborations with governments, academia, and civil society.
The institute was established at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) by a group of faculty, graduate students, and researchers from Harvard University and MIT, who are passionate about the world around them and relentless in their pursuit of solutions to improve human lives.
