Ram Sundaram is a technology policy analyst with a focus on AI, emerging technologies, and misinformation. He is a consultant with the World Bank's Digital Development Global Practice, working with the AI Strategy and Cybersecurity teams. He recently graduated from the Fletcher School of Global Affairs at Tufts University, where his research focused on mitigating the effects of misinformation on social media. Under the mentorship of Professor Simona Tiribelli, ITGH's Director of AI & Ethics, his current project delves into the intricate intersection of AI and misinformation within the (social) media landscape. Specifically, Ram's research entails a comprehensive comparative analysis of both national and global AI strategies, ethics frameworks, and regulatory approaches, offering invaluable insights into addressing this critical societal challenge.
